“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Dear friends,

As we begin April, we’re glad to share a few updates and recent highlights from Valiant Scribe.

Editor’s Note

As the season turns, we extend warm wishes to all in our community observing Easter—both Protestant and Orthodox traditions—as well as those celebrating Passover.
May this period be one of reflection, renewal, and hope, wherever you are and however you observe.

Submissions

Our no-fee reading period has now closed, and we’re grateful to all who submitted their work.

Our year-round general call for submissions remains open from January 15 to December 15. Submissions carry a $5 reading fee, which supports the journal’s core operations, including website hosting, newsletters, and editorial infrastructure. Submissions that are not accepted will receive brief editorial feedback, intended to offer encouragement and guidance to writers.
